NEET MDS 2025 Counselling Round 2 Final Result Declared

The definitive outcome of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) counselling round 2 was announced, following the release of a provisional result on July 18. It is interesting to note that there has not been any significant change between the provisional and final results.
Candidates who do not receive a seat in round 2 are eligible for participation in subsequent rounds. In case a seat is assigned in Round 2 but not reported or not joined, the security deposit will be forfeited. Candidates who want to continue with the college they have been assigned can report to the designated institute and finalize their admission procedures.
After this, there will be a round 3 of counseling, for which a new registration and choice filling process will occur. In this, round 2 selections will be considered null and void. After round 3, a stray round will be carried out using the same process as the first three rounds.
There will be no offline admissions or offline resignations. All admissions and resignations (if applicable) will be processed online. Any offline admission or resignation will not be accepted. Colleges that accept offline admissions or resignations might encounter legal or other repercussions, depending on their individual circumstances. For the next offline admission counselling round, the seat will be regarded as vacant. A seat that has been vacated because of an offline resignation will not be filled in the next counselling round.
Failure to join the respective institution or surrender the seat for any unforeseen reason will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit for candidates who have been allotted a seat in the second round or later. In addition, the security deposit will be lost if the admission is cancelled for any reason.
