Delhi CM SHRI School Admissions 2026: Registrations Begin

The Directorate of Education (DoE) begins the online application process for the CM SHRI Schools Admission Test-2026, thereby beginning the admission process for the 75 CM SHRI Schools administered by the Delhi government for the 2026-2027 school year.
The entrance test will be conducted to fill up vacant seats in Classes 6, 9, and 11, as per a circular issued by the DoE's CM SHRI Branch. The last date to apply is March 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Only students from Delhi who have successfully completed: • Class 5 (to be admitted to Class 6) • Class 8 (to be admitted to Class 9) • Students in Class 10 at an approved Delhi school are eligible to apply for admission to Class 11 in the 2025-2026 school year.
The last date for eligibility is March 12, 2026, which is also the last date to apply online.
Students from government and government-aided schools in Delhi, including DoE, MCD, NDMC, Kendriya Vidyalayas, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, are mandated by the DoE to reserve at least 50% of the seats for themselves.
The following minimum scores are to be added to the merit list:
• For General candidates, 25%
• Five percent relaxation for children with special needs (CWSN), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and SC/ST
However, admissions will be based on cutoffs for each category and school.
Applicants must choose their preferred schools carefully while applying:
• Class 6: Two educational preferences
• There are three school options for classes 9 and 11.
The organization has clearly stated that after school allocation, no transfer applications will be accepted.
