JEE Main 2025: 12 Questions Dropped Due To Errors

Due to mistakes, the National Testing Agency (NTA) removed 12 questions—the most in recent years—from the JEE Main 2025 BE/BTech final answer key. The majority of the dropped questions were in the Physics component of the exam, which was administered from January 22 to 30. According to NTA regulation, students who answer a question incorrectly—regardless of whether they attempted it or not—are given full marks.
On February 11, the JEE Main 2025 results were revealed. In 304 places, including 15 outside of India, 618 centers hosted Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Thirteen men and one woman made up the total of 14 candidates who received a perfect score in the 100 percentile.
However, because 39 candidates used dishonest exam-taking tactics, the NTA withheld their scores.
The final JEE Main 2025 BE/BTech answer key has been made public by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and can be seen on the official website. Math, chemistry, and physics are the subjects of the dropped questions.
