DU PG Admissions 2026 Registration Begins

DU PG Admission 2026 : As per the NEP 2020 policy, the University of Delhi (DU) has commenced admission for its one-year postgraduate (PG) courses. Applications through the PG portal started from July 5, 2022, and will end by July 11, 2022. As per the latest academic structure, this university is now offering one-year postgraduate courses to eligible candidates for the first time.

Only those Delhi University candidates who have completed their four-year UG Curriculum Framework program are eligible for admission. According to the university, admission will be granted based on merit, if all the eligibility criteria of each individual course are fulfilled.

Applications will be received only from those who have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree under DU’s UGCF 2022. The applicants need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the specific course and should have earned the required academic credits in their bachelor’s course. Merit alone shall form the basis of the selection process.

The implementation of NEP 2020 by Delhi University, which allows students to do a one-year postgraduate course instead of the conventional two-year course after completion of four-year bachelor’s degree with the required credits, involves setting up the one-year master’s degree program.

The university has also opened admissions for its two-year MSc in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology for GAT-B 2026 students along with the newly introduced one-year PG course.

How to apply : Visit the official Delhi University website for postgraduate admissions. Login by entering your credentials in the login section. Select the one-year postgraduate course that you wish to apply to. Apply for it and upload the required documents. Review your application and submit it. Fill up the application form and download the acknowledgement page.
