IP University introduces seven new paramedical programmes : Seven fresh paramedical and allied health courses have been started by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for the year 2026-27 admissions. The university states that the online application process for these newly introduced courses has already begun through their official admission portals.
Interested applicants who wish to apply for these courses can complete the online application process through the universities' websites, as stated by the university itself. The deadline for submitting the application is May 31, 2026.
The newly introduced programmes include BSc Clinical Psychology (Hons.), Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical and Trauma Technology (BSc EMTT), Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) / Master in Applied Epidemiology, MA Clinical Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP), MSc Speech Language Pathology (MSc SLP), and Bachelor of Optometry.
The fees payable towards application have been set to Rs 2,500 per program. Applicants who choose more than one program will be expected to pay the application fee individually for each program.
The introduction of the new courses happens to coincide with an increasing demand for specialists in areas such as epidemiology, emergency medicine, psychological services, rehabilitation science, and speech and language pathology. While courses in clinical and rehabilitation psychology are aimed at improving specialized training in behavioral and mental health treatment, other courses like Emergency Medical and Trauma Technology will emphasize the importance of emergency systems and trauma management.
The Master of Applied Epidemiology degree program and the Epidemic Intelligence Service are expected to focus on health response systems, outbreak investigations, and disease surveillance. Similarly, the objective of the MSc Speech-Language Pathology degree program and the Bachelor of Optometry degree program is to enhance access to professional healthcare services for communication disorders and visual disorders.
