It is to be noted that the CBSE is going to set up its re-evaluation portal from June 1, 2026, to ensure a convenient and transparent process of answer book verification and re-evaluation. According to the official announcement made on the board’s social media page X, the portal of post-result activities will be made functional starting June 1, to make sure that "the highest standards and protocols of evaluation [are] maintained."
This post result facility link of cbse.gov.in will be made functional by the board. It may also be noted that the deadline to get scanned copies of the evaluated answer books has been extended till May 25.
It is important for the students to know that the process of verification and re-evaluation is being done by the board in two phases. The first phase was conducted from May 19 to May 25 where the students were able to request the scan answer sheet of the subjects they want to study. For re-evaluation of answer sheets and verification of issues raised during the second phase, it will commence from June 1.
The students who belong to class 12 must be aware of reviewing the marked answer sheets, noting the questions, and identifying the mistakes. Candidates are required to select either re-evaluation or verification. In addition to that, it is important for the students to validate the responses using the CBSE marking scheme 2026.
Since students were worried about their results and On Screen Marking System (OSM), the board reduced the fees for the access of answer books on scanning basis, mark verification, and rechecking of answers.
As per the instructions issued by the board, only those students who have asked for their answer books would be eligible to apply for rechecking and verifying their problems.
Additionally, to help out those students who face any trouble, the board has made available its helpline number as well as an email address for them. They can either communicate via email at resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in or by tele-counseling helpline number 1800 11 8004.
