LPU Strengthens Multi-Layered Campus Security: With the beginning of the new academic year fast approaching, the students of the country get ready to leave the comfort of their homes and move into colleges and universities. Apart from making sure of physical safety of students, LPU ensures the maintenance of a healthy campus environment. In addition to a drug-free, alcohol-free and smoke-free campus, security staff is deployed 24x7 to prevent the entry of prohibited substances into the campus.

LPU boasts of having its own functional fire station, which includes a fire truck, firefighting force, and state-of-the-art infrastructure for emergency preparedness. The security system gets bolstered through the use of modern surveillance systems, professional ex-servicemen, women security staff for girls' hostels, and campus patrolling.
