CBSE has released the tentative datesheet for the class 10 board exams 2026
...

The tentative date sheets for the 2026 Class 10 board exams have been made public by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Exam 1 and Exam 2 will be the two sets of board exams starting in 2026, according to a previous announcement from CBSE. February–March will see the first, while May–June will see the second.
According to CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the second edition is planned for May 15–June 1, 2026, while the first edition will take place from February 17–March 9, 2026.

With the implementation of the dual-exam system, which aims to relieve students of academic strain while providing them with an extra opportunity within the same academic session, the date sheet represents a substantial change.

The comprehensive schedule for 2026 was released by the CBSE 146 days before to the exam's start, or about five months in advance. On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Class 10 exam will start, and it will end on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Generally speaking, evaluation of the answer scripts will start about 10 days after the exam for each topic is held and be finished in 12 days. For example, evaluation is expected to start on March 3, 2026, and end by March 15, 2026, if the Class 12 Physics test is set for February 20, 2026," Bhardwaj continued.

According to the CBSE, this year's two-exam method guarantees that students who might not meet their performance standards during the February–March session will have another chance in May–June without having to wait a whole year.
