AMU Releases Admission Schedule 2026

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced the opening of applications for admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma and professional courses on Sunday, 1st February 2026. Applications are to be made by candidates through the official website amucontrollerexams.com to apply. For admission into courses through the entrance exam, fees range from Rs 750 to Rs 1,050 depending on the course/syou are applying for. 

AMU has officially released the schedule of admission exams for the 2026-27 academic year which will be conducted using pen and paper at an identified set location.

BA (Hons) Admission Exam Dates for Academic Year 2026–2027: April 12 & April 19 BTech, BArch, BBA Admission Exam Date: April 19 

Senior Secondary School (Science Stream), Senior Secondary School (Humanities and Commerce Stream), and Diploma in Engineering Admission Exam Date: April 26

The MBA entrance examinations (for the subjects International Business, Islamic Banking & Finance, Financial Management, Tourism & Travel Management, Insurance & Risk Management, Human Resource Management and Hospital Management) will all be held on the 7th of June 2024. On that day, examinations will be also held for the Master of Public Health (MPH), Masters in Social Work (MSW) and for the Bachelor in Education (BEd). There are many other events taking place on that day so the number of candidates from various places expected to attend AMU must be high.
