The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cautioned parents and students to be alert for false allegations circulating on social media regarding alleged paper leaks of the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The board emphasized that strict measures are in place to ensure the tests are administered fairly and smoothly.

According to a CBSE official declaration, some persons are posing as having access to the 2025 board exam question papers in order to disseminate misleading material on websites such as YouTube, Facebook, and 'X' (formerly Twitter). CBSE claims that these claims are untrue and intended to cause parents and kids unnecessary worry.

Any student caught engaging in such behavior may face legal repercussions under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as well as disciplinary action under CBSE's Unfair Means (UFM) regulations, the board added, adding that it is working closely with law enforcement to identify and punish those who spread such false material.

Parents have been urged by CBSE to teach their kids not to trust or disseminate false information. Additionally, it has requested that all parties exclusively use authorized public communication channels and formal notices located on CBSE's official website (www.cbse.gov.in).

Additionally, the board has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process by warning that individuals or groups proven to be responsible for disseminating false material will face severe legal action.
